Welcome to Syntax City, a carefully designed application dedicated to enhancing grammatical proficiency among elementary and middle school students. As the mayor, I must inform you that we are committed to the highest standards of syntax here, fostering an environment where verbs consistently agree with subjects, actions are articulated in the correct tense, and pronouns are appropriately utilized.

Syntax City provides an engaging thematic experience, allowing children to explore various locations, each crafted to target specific grammatical goals:

• Beach: Third person singular agreement
• Bakery: Was/Were
• Ski Resort: He/She
• Farm: Past tense verb agreement
• Grocery: Has/Have
• Park: Is/Are
• Zoo: Regular and Irregular Plurals

Each location features a comprehensive set of 50 targets, resulting in a total of 400 targets spread across eight distinct activities. To enhance engagement, all target phrases are read aloud by professional voice actors and complemented by motivational animations.

The application accommodates multiple players, allowing each of the five users to select an avatar and explore one or several locations within the city. This feature encourages collaborative learning while promoting competition.

A treasure collection system adds excitement; players earn treasures based on their consecutive correct answers, which are recorded under each child's profile.

Syntax City excels in data tracking, offering visually appealing and detailed progress reports. A series of graphs facilitates easy monitoring of children's skills and mastery of specific objectives. The data can be conveniently emailed, printed, or shared with other compatible applications.
